Privacy Policy
FrameNet ("FrameNet", "we", "us") is an AI photo restyling app for iPhone, operated by Pinninti Ajith ("the developer"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the FrameNet app and the framenet.online service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name (if shared) and email address, and we create an account identifier for you. We never see or store your Apple or Google password.
- Photos you upload. When you choose a photo and tap Generate, that photo is transmitted to our server so it can be restyled. See section 3 for exactly what happens to it.
- Generated images. The AI-restyled result is stored on our server temporarily so you can retrieve it, then deleted (section 4).
- Purchase and credit history. If you subscribe to FrameNet Pro, we record your subscription status and keep a ledger of credits granted and spent. Payment itself is handled entirely by Apple; we never receive your card or bank details.
- Basic technical logs. Standard server logs (IP address, request time, app version) used for security, debugging, and preventing abuse.
We do not collect your contacts, location, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or any data from your photo library other than the individual photos you explicitly choose to upload.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service: restyling your photos, returning your results, and keeping them available to you for a short period.
- To operate your account: sign-in, credit balance, and subscription entitlements.
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to keep the service secure.
- To respond when you contact support.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
3. AI processing and third parties
FrameNet's restyling is powered by a third-party AI provider. When you generate an image, your uploaded photo and the selected style prompt are sent to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C., USA) via its Images API, which produces the restyled result. This happens only when you tap Generate, and only for the purpose of creating your image.
Your photos are not used to train AI models. We do not use your uploaded photos or generated images to train any AI model, and under OpenAI's API terms, content submitted through the API is not used to train OpenAI's models.
The complete list of third parties that may process your data:
- OpenAI: processes your uploaded photo to generate the restyled image (privacy policy).
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and all subscription payments (privacy policy).
- Google: Sign in with Google (privacy policy).
- Our hosting providers: the servers and network infrastructure (including Cloudflare) that run the FrameNet service.
Each of these parties is required to protect your data to a standard at least equal to this policy. We share with them only what is necessary to provide the service, and for no other purpose.
4. How long we keep your data
- Uploaded photos: deleted from our server immediately after processing completes, normally within minutes, and in every case within 2 hours.
- Generated images: kept for 7 days so you can view and save them, then permanently deleted by an automated daily job.
- Account, credit, and purchase records: kept while your account exists, and deleted when you delete your account.
- Server logs: kept for a short rolling window for security purposes, then discarded.
5. Deleting your account and your data
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete Account). Deletion removes your account record, your credit and purchase ledger, and any stored generated images from our systems. Deletion takes effect immediately.
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it; subscriptions are billed by Apple and must be cancelled in your App Store subscription settings, which the app will remind you of before deletion.

6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or Switzerland (GDPR): our legal bases for processing are the performance of our contract with you (providing the service) and your consent (uploading a photo for AI processing). You may withdraw consent at any time and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
- If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by the CCPA.
To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app controls or email support@framenet.online. We respond within 30 days.
7. Security and international transfer
All data is transmitted using TLS encryption. Access to production systems is restricted to the developer. Our servers are operated in the United States (US East region), and OpenAI processes images in the United States; by using FrameNet you understand your photos are transferred to and processed in these locations.
8. Children
FrameNet is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Camera and photo library access
FrameNet asks for camera access only to take a photo you want to restyle, and photo library access only to save results you choose to save. Photos and camera data are used solely to provide the restyling feature, never for marketing, advertising, or data mining.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app before the changes take effect. Continued use of FrameNet after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
