Terms of Use

FrameNet for iOS · End User License Agreement · Effective date: August 3, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Pinninti Ajith ("the developer", "we", "us") for the FrameNet iOS application and the framenet.online service ("FrameNet", "the app"). By creating an account or using FrameNet you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Relationship with Apple

These Terms are concluded between you and the developer only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). The developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for FrameNet and its content. You and the developer acknowledge that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary. These Terms do not conflict with, and in case of conflict are subordinate to, the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use FrameNet on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (except that the app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing). You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app or the service, except as permitted by law.

3. Your account

You sign in with your Apple or Google account and must provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use FrameNet. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete Account); see our Privacy Policy for what is deleted.

4. Subscriptions and credits

5. Your content and license to us

You keep all rights you have in the photos you upload. So that we can provide the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, and process your uploaded photos and generated results solely to operate and provide FrameNet, including transmitting your photo to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate your result. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems (uploads are deleted after processing; results after 7 days; see the Privacy Policy). We do not use your photos to train AI models and we claim no ownership of them.

You are responsible for the content you upload. You represent that you have the necessary rights to any photo you upload, including the permission of any identifiable person appearing in it.

6. Generated images

As between you and us, you own the restyled images FrameNet generates for you, and you may use them for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law. You acknowledge that AI-generated output may be similar to output generated for other users, may contain inaccuracies or artifacts, and that the extent of copyright protection for AI-generated content varies by jurisdiction and may be limited.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use FrameNet to:

We may refuse to process content, remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. AI disclaimer

Results are generated automatically by artificial intelligence. We do not review them and cannot guarantee that any particular result will be accurate, appropriate, or meet your expectations. Generation may occasionally fail; in that case spent credits for the failed generation are refunded to your balance.

9. Maintenance and support

The developer is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for FrameNet. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services for the app. For support, contact support@framenet.online.

10. Warranty

FrameNet is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are the developer's sole responsibility.

11. Product and legal claims

The developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the app or your possession and/or use of it, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. These Terms do not limit the developer's liability to you beyond what is permitted by applicable law.

12. Intellectual property claims

In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, the developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.

13. Legal compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

14. Third-party terms

You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using FrameNet, including Apple's Media Services Terms, your wireless data agreement, and OpenAI's usage policies for content processed by the AI provider.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of FrameNet. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

16. Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated. They terminate automatically if you fail to comply with them; we may also suspend or terminate the service or your account for violation of these Terms. On termination you must cease all use of the app. Sections 5-6 (as to existing content), 10-12, and 15 survive termination.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and notify you in the app before the changes take effect. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes are subject to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law grants you mandatory protections or a mandatory forum, those protections are unaffected.
